10/31/2014 10:13 amSeemed like a decent place when I went but it was way overfilled. I could barely move around and the basement was like a sweat lodge. Drink prices aren't terrible and the bartenders were ok but overall I wasn't that impressed. Lots of pushy people without manners as well. |

02/05/2014 10:27 amLooks like a small quaint bar from the outside, but go inside and find yourself in a basement bar with a dance floor. This is a weekday spot if you don't like over crowding, because on weekends it can get overbearing with the masses. Great drinks and nice friendly staff. Great place to hang out, just be wearing of how big the crowds get. |

08/19/2013 6:53 pmVon really is like two bars in one. On the top floor, you have a very relaxed bar scene where you can chat it up with folks without having to yell over one another. Downstairs is a different scene. The DJs downstairs are aiming to get the party started, primarily with a mixture of throwback and current hip hop & R&B. It's just a fun place to be. |

03/20/2013 6:17 pmIt's a Thursday night. You want to get some drinks that aren't gonna make you late on rent? But you also want to dance? Dilemma. Go to Von and your problems are solved. This is a great place, no matter what size your group is. This place doesn't have any fancy cocktails and has no frills to it. It's the kind of place you go to if your choice of liquor is a good glass of strong whiskey or beer. |

03/16/2012 3:04 pmImpressive drink selection, whether it be beer or wine. The main level appears to be a bustling bar. However, the downstairs has a completely different and rowdy vibe. If you're down for an enthusiastic dance party with disco lights, take a dip downstairs. It could be a total hit or miss, but on a good night, you'll have a fun time dancing away. The crowd seems to be pretty local, which is a plus. |
