A Portland must! Usually a long line-up. Eclectic store with a huge variety of doughnuts and long johns with not much time to process when you get inside, but don't worry - whatever you choose will be very good. It's in a seedy part of town, but that seems part of the Portland experience and safe, as long as you are careful.

My husband and I went and got some doughnuts. My husband got his peach fritter like always. He took a bite and grease filled his mouth and dripped down his face. He waited in line again to tell the cashier the oil wasn't hot enough and it was not edible. She said "you do know it's cooking in oil right?" and wouldn't give him a properly cooked one or his money back. So he threw his almost $5 fritter away. Last time we've been there and will never go back. Worst customers service ever!

This place is visually, a must see. The combinations and the quirky decor are pretty cool. Unfortunately, the doughnuts are just good, not great. They do offer quite a few combinations and names that you likely won't find anywhere else. It's a nice place to visit.

Delicious! Still tasty and moist even a few days after being purchased. We stopped in after the bar and skipped the long lines. Totally worth it!

If you are thinking of coming here because of the hype don't, their quality has slipped drastically once they got famous. On my most recent visit the doughnuts were some of the worst I've had, but they used to be really good. If you only care about how you doughnut looks come here. Other than that you can get doughnuts of similar quality at Safeway, or better doughnuts at literally any other shop around. The wait time is long, they only take cash, and the doughnuts are not even that good, avoid this place. Huge disappointment to see another company get famous and stop caring about quality.
