Outgoing and knowledgeable staff keeps me coming back. I've never been disappointed with the quality and cuts they offer.

You have to try the cashew broccoli salad and the flourless chocolate cake. At different meals, of course. I like the way this place feels like an old time market and the staff is really friendly, like you are just one of their neighbors.

Not many quality butcher shops like this one left. Quality is top notch and staff are helpful and happy to help out with special orders. I've never sourced any seafood but it looks pretty good. Vegetable selection is pretty good, if a bit slim.

Known especially for their "excellent" "made-to-order" sandwiches (the "brisket is the bomb"), these "old-time" delis/markets have a "loyal" fan base for their "best-of-everything" lineup including "amazing-quality" meats – overseen here by renowned "master butcher" Pam Ginsberg – and seafood, "wonderful baked goods" and "almost-like-home-cooking" prepared foods; "moderate prices" and "knowledgeable" service seal the deal.
