11/16/2011 7:10 amHeavens Waiting Room.. There's a reason it's called Waids. Oh and the food tastes like a hospital floor, but have to agree with the other poster its great hung-over food, just like water in the desert. My girlfriend loves this place but she has a soft spot for the elderly, I don't think her taste buds are in charge there. SO if your old, broke, or like gruel then this is the spot. I was literally served canned meat.. it looked and smelt like cat food, but I think this is exactly what their clientele likes. 1 star because I don't really hate anything and they can sustain life, and another cause the girlfriend likes it. - I take that back you could die from cutting your lip with their drink glasses. *1 STAR* |

07/27/2011 3:54 pmFirst the good news -- the fruit that came with my breakfast was impressive in quantity and variety -- strawberries, blueberries, bananas, grapes, and the requisite melon. HOWEVER, the oatmeal was burned and so was the toast. The water glass was chipped. I think the waitress knew about the oatmeal because when I ordered it she started to say something and stopped. When I asked if something was wrong, she said no. The waitress was unfriendly and interrupted our conversation abruptly and loudly. I admit that there weren't a lot of orders at our table so that could have affected her mood but given the quality of the food I got, the others at my table had the right idea. |

12/03/2010 1:50 pmGreat for breakfast. Decent for dinner. If you want a nice peaceful, sit-down style meal, Waid's will work great. Had liver & onions and was not disappointed. |
