Waikiki Shore, Honolulu, Hawaii Restaurant Details

If you are looking for an inexpensive, clean place on the beach this is the place. My husband and I stayed for 8 nights in a standard room on the 16th floor. We had a partial view of the ocean which was wonderful. The staff was excellent! Michelle at the front desk conviced me to switch and save. Look into that! We got a great rate by doing this. Michelle and Leny thank you for all your help and for making my vacation memorable! The hotel is in a good location at the end of busy waikiki and quiet. We walked from the hotel to Diamond head 2.5 miles from the hotel to the top of Diamond Head. The shuttle takes you to the mall and to other locations in waikiki. They also have an in house car rental which was awesome for us because we did not need it for the entire stay. The WiFi is free! We were looking for a nice place too stay but inexpensive and we found it. The also have suites which are nice and big if you want more space. People say thr pool is small but there is never anyone in it so you have it to yourself. No complaints from me. My husband and I stayed at the pool the entire day and had no issues. Everyone is at the beach. This is the hotel for those who want to explore hawaii and are looking for a standard room. Pictures on the website are exactly what you get. We had a wonderful time ecploring Oahu and paid little for our hotel. It does not have more than 1 restaurant in it but it is literally 100 restaurants on the strip so who cares. Enjoy!

Food:

Hotels location is great for Waikiki. Just across from Queens Beach and the views are amazing of Diamond head and the ocean. Rooms are average/solid 3*. This place is all about the view, the value and the location! Nothing extravagant. Good sushi place in lobby and Lulus restaurant is supposed to be good but I didn't try.

Food:

I'd there was a 4.5 it would get it. Employees and service were great. Location was perfect, ocean view room and a great view of diamond head and the beach. Also an easy cross to get to the beach without walking thru a hotel. A short walk to the shopping/commercial area of waikiki and a short walk to local eateries on the way to Diamond Head.

Only gripe I have is no microwave or ice machine in the room or on our floor. Maybe they should add a mini bar by the pool or manager special more often. However, there is Lulu's and Tikis that offer terrace seating with food and drinks

Food:

Friendly staff and great valet service, but the bathrooms have no vents, so expect a sauna. The WiFi is running at right around dial-up speeds for me. The old, slow, elevators are an annoyance at best, and I wish the pool didn't close at sunset. The rooms are small but nice. Safe, super-mini fridge, coffee pot, blow dryer, nice flat screen tv. All the basics are covered here. The beds could be more comfortable though. The lobby offers free coffee and juice during the day, and has a small convenience store attached. Great food options right in front of the hotel as well. I would stay here again if it was a lowball deal.

Food:

Solid hotel experience overall. Reasonable price. Room was well equipped (safe, mini-fridge, etc). Nice, helpful staff. Liked the free beach amenities.

The key to open the door didn't work too well and the showerhead was low for me (I'm 5'11), but no big deals.
