I've lived in Chicago for 5 years and this is hands down my favorite Japanese/worldly restaurant in Chicago! Not only will the sushi blow your mind but the menu plays with dishes from around the world, giving all of them a new spin! The martinis will knock you on your butt! Sooo strong but mixed soooo beautifully that they become this delicious work of art! Try the ginger martini, yellowtail ceviche and the spinach in sesame.

Delicious, fresh and creative sushi with professional, friendly service and exotic atmosphere. I highly recommend Wakamono!

Delicious delicious delicious!! Great fresh sushi, I'm usually not a huge fan of raw fish, but the fish at Wakamono is lovely. Recommend the tempura appetizer and crab wonton. Lava cake is to die for. Very friendly service as well.

I ordered the yo yo ramen and it was completely bland and the little taste it did have was just bad. the sushi was okay, but this place is a total waste of money. $15 for ramen and I'd honestly rather have the instant crap
