I have has a very positive experience with Wakefield Realtors. There staff are professional and friendly and are a breath of fresh air opposed to the experience that I've had in the past renting by owner. Everyone that I have dealt with either on the phone or in person has been friendly, professional and a pleasure to do business with!

Alan Cooper, the owner of Wakefield Realtors, helped me purchase my home last month. He was extremely helpful through the whole (long) process. Over 5 months we spent looking for the perfect home, and he was good at keeping my wife and I patient, as to not “jump” on the wrong one. We could not be happier in our home now, and he made the process so easy. What could have been overwhelming, stressful, and scary turned out to me a happy and memorable time. Thanks, Alan!

My fiancé and I moved in to a Wakefield home a month ago. The experience so far has exceeded our expectations. Like a lot of renters, we have been trained to expect the worst from property management companies (landlords) who did not want to spend any money on necessary repairs and did not communicate well. Wakefield is restoring our faith that there are some decent, reasonable, and professional landlords still out there.

When we first started the application process, we were skeptical as I mentioned, but some of our fears were calmed once we started to work with Bev, the property manager, and Haley, the leasing agent. They were both very nice and great at returning phone calls and emails, and answered all the questions we had.

Once moved in, there were a few things that needed to be fixed and they were actually timely with the repairs! They have an online system for repair requests and will call to schedule a time with you within 5 business days. After being satisfied already, I got a phone call two weeks after moving in from Bev to ask how everything was going, if the repairs went well, and to update me on communication with the home owner on a large repair that needed approval. I was blown away! Only one other landlord in my 11 years of renting has called to see how things were going (others seem to call only when they are forced to or if something is wrong).

We have only worked with this company for a little while now, but I feel comfortable recommending them to other renters and look forward to our next few years with them.

Find another company or local land lords.
I lived in one of their duplexes (6321 Worchester Knoll) for two years. I remember the apartment being filthy and having to clean this "clean" duplex before moving in. First two months there, I had rats. Wakefield realtors wanted to respond to the rat problem two weeks after the upcoming holiday. The property I had rented had very outdated, needed a lot of cosmetic and plumbing work. Plywood like cabinets made up this makeshift kitchen I had to use. I had to replace the shower head to which they ended charging me at the end for...
I moved into a yard of dirt, by the time I left, there was grass... didn't even take notice.
Reporting repairs is a joke. These contractors are the most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with. A few of them even came over with out noticed.
Wakefield Team Members don't even treat you like a person. They were very rude. They acted like I was this horrible Tenant that would destroy their property. They also will charge you for things that you haven't even done.
Finally moved cleaned the heck out of the apartment, went over their check list and they still took out 40% of my deposit. I left some curtain rods and a curtain for the windows, thinking that the new tenant would have something to cover the windows while settling in, they charged me for "wall damage" They also charged me for a damaged shower head that I installed that worked perfectly.Charged me 125 for cleaning, after I had already cleaned that place up and down and left cleaners! Note this as well,when I moved in, duplex was filthy!
Had my locks changed, the guy who did it also checked the property being up-to-code. They charged me for his entire visit... I just wanted my locks changed that I could have done myself.
These people find ways to take money from you.
I don't wish Wakefield Realtors on anyone.

Wakefield Realtors is the most amazing property management company!! They have earned our complete trust and faith! Everyone there just goes out of their way to help. I have been in the hospital more days than not since February 13th. It is an amazing thing to know that one of our most prized possessions is being cared for. It was the one thing we didn't have to think about. We knew that, if, anything needed to be looked after they were there. From Alan and Bev, to Ben with maintenance, to most especially Hayley, we know that they are looking out for our interest! If, for whatever reason you find yourself needing a property management company, look no further! Hands down, the best!!!
