Great food and even better service. Our waitress was amazing, both friendly and prompt. She went out of her way to tell is abouy the area. There was an awesome jazz artist and band that pulled the entire experience together and had us leaving with smiles on our faces. All around great place to visit.

Unique food and amazing selection of flavors The Washington Platform is a great little gem in the Queen City. Friendly staff that remind me of Cheers this home town spot is not to be skipped.

My wife and I just ate here this evening before catching a concert at the Music Hall. We fought through nasty traffic and had just a little time to spare. We walked into a nice saloon with a talented blues musician playing in one corner. We grabbed 2 seats at the bar and asked the bartender for something warm and quick. We both had the chili (NOT Cincinnati-style). It was very tasty and warmed the tongue and the soul. I chased mine with a cup of gumbo with just the right amount of heat with chunks of shrimp and other secret ingredients. With ketchup being a 1, habanero a 10, and ghost peppers being a 30, the spice level was about a 5-6. The beer selection was also good enough to please everyone from Miller Lite to Moerlein drinkers. Bartender was very helpful and friendly. We were surprised to see a few wee kids under 5 in there on a Friday night. I would recommend and want to go back when we have more time to peruse the menu.

Our family loves the food and convenience of Washington Platform Downtown Cincinnati; Although we have experienced very poor customer service, not only once but the 3x we have ordered carry-outs. This is unfortunate since we may not visit anymore.
