I will start by saying that I don't usually write reviews and being in the food biz for 38 years I hate to complain or sound like a know it all. Saying that I have to say I had the worst ribeye there I have ever had. The portion was large but when it was sit in front of me my first thought was that they had brought me a strip steak judging by the appearance. I needed a chainsaw to cut thru it { I ordered it rare side of medium rare and got closer to medium } and honest to God my jaw was getting sore trying to chew it enough to swallow. I could not eat it. Both my friends and my shrimp cocktail was terrible as well. They had been de-veined but still had that ragged look where thy didn't clean them plus they were so over-cooked that they were tough and rubbery. My friends fried shrimp were two seconds away from being burned. When the waitress [ who did the disappearing act during the meal ] came by at the end and asked if I wanted to take the steak home and I replied that no I didn't and asked her to look at it and tell me it was up to par replied " it's not my fault" I knew that I would never be coming back. This I thought funny though, the lady manager took half the price of the steak off the ticket. Please. To many good places to eat around here to ever bother going back. Sure that they don't really care, they have a good location and when we walked in the bar was full.

Excellent food, terrific atmosphere, Great view, impeccable service, truly a classy joint. My favorite part is that it is family owned. This is a great restaurant for locals and visitors I highly recommend it whether for a drink at the bar or dinner with friends.

Great service, great atmosphere, OK food. Our table had the salmon, steak and mahi mahi. Food was not seasoned, very bland. Homemade tarter too much pickle for my liking. Food not worth the price.Our waitress was great.

I was highly recommended to this place. I was staying in Sarasota for 15 days, so nothing better to know local restaurants. I think I was with bad luck, because I order a simple top sirloin, and they gave me a real thick steak, which was impossible to be medium-done using a grill. I ate until find the raw center, show to the waitress, she came back with the steak now burned outside and the same raw center... Apologies accepted, after all she's a waitress not the griller, but I will not recommend this place because they cannot deliver a medium-done thicker sirloin, even when they see the meat was burned outside and decide to put on the grill again. Strange muffin bread for entrance (do not taste as bread at all) and big french fries. Kinda expensive paying $30 for one steak, one ceasar salad, 2 drafts beer.
