10/06/2015 12:19 pmFried chicken is pretty awesome. I've gotten so used to the unbattered Korean fried chicken that I'm not used to the American style. Nevertheless, the chicken was juicy and the batter was very well seasoned. Get the deviled eggs as well - they're pretty awesome. We also got a side of the burrata whipped potatoes, which was a great complement to the chicken, but beware, it's on the heavier side. |

08/23/2015 6:46 pmThe food here is actually pretty good. Avoid lunch time if you can. Despite the high prices, it is always packed. But if you have a client meeting, this place will do the trick. Good food. Good service. yorkshire pudding. |

07/30/2015 5:40 pmI am a tremendous fan of Tyler Florence...so I was hoping that his bragging about his fried chicken was legit. He can brag all he wants, the food was excellent. I also had the mac and cheese. The service is great, the waiters are very friendly and the place is charming. I sat at the chef table and watched how the meals are prepared. My overall experience was a 10. They also have an upstairs and outside seating. A little pricey so be prepared to spend your money. I liked it because it wasn't a tourist trap. Being from NYC, sometimes the celebrity restaurants are just that. If you are in the neighborhood or in San Francisco, I highly recommend it. |

06/14/2015 2:09 pmThe atmosphere and service are amazing, the food was solid. Overall we had a great experience! We went here for dinner on a Friday night (good thing we had reservations) and the place was packed. We were shown to our table immediately and quickly greeted by our server (I wish I could remember his name because he was awesome). We started with some cocktails and were pleasantly surprised with all the drink options (solid beer and wine selection). Moving onto apps we had the deviled eggs and beef tartare (both were amazing). Our main dishes consisted of burgers and fried chicken; solid offerings, but not the greatest. Dessert was the deconstructed devil's food cake; definitely a winner. Highly recommend this place. I'll definitely go back when I'm in San Francisco again. |

10/06/2015 12:42 amGenius popovers and amazing fried chicken are menu highlights at this creative comfort-food practitioner in the FiDi via chef Tyler Florence; charismatic servers and super-cool atmospherics compensate for pricey tabs and loud acoustics, but overall it stays hopping for a reason. |
