People! Don't listen to these negative idiots about that breastfeeding incident that happened earlier! Has nothing to do with the quality of food or its employees! Every one has a dame right to opinion on this incident good or bad! But not on this site... that's not what this review site is for! The food is great! The employees are nice and so are the owners! I recommend this place.

Retards embarrassed a woman, who went on the news, for breastfeeding her child, I'll tell you this, i'll never eat at this establishment again, and I'm a daily customer. You can't embarrass nature. Too bad you don't have a website WestSide, it'd be defaced and ddos'd by the entire collective. Learn Texas law, HB 1706 , women have the right to breastfeed openly wherever they want, no one has say but the mother.

Shame on you West Side Cafe! It is your duty as a business to know your state laws.

While public breastfeeding is already protected by Texas law, HB 1706 would strengthen the existing laws in multiple ways. It would provide education on breastfeeding to business owners, offer compensation for mothers whose rights have been violated, and instruct state agencies to develop mother-friendly policies in the workplace. The overall idea is to reduce the amount of harassment mothers get while breastfeeding in public by spreading awareness and acceptance of the act. And just to remind you, the "act" in question is giving sustenance to an infant so that it can stay alive.

The states that you have no right to interfere we a mother nursing her baby. If seeing a baby bein fed offends you, you need to check yourself. I think businesses like yours need to be held accountable to the full extent of the law, to make sure you think twice before publicly shaming another mother for doing what is natural.

Eta: I was told by a very reliable source that the owner of this cafe, not only apologized, but has also reached out to the Tarrant County Health Department for clarification on theTexas breastfeeding laws . I give him cudos for this. Remember ladies not everyone is schooled in the law and it's your responsibilityas breastfeeding mothers to help educate others. I understand that seeing is believing and only time can tell if he really want to make breastfeeding mommies feel comfortable in his establishment.

A friend of mine from a Facebook group recently came here and was made to feel embarrassed and ashamed simply because she was breastfeeding her newborn baby. It hurt my heart to hear what happened to her and that she was approached by a manager telling her she needs to cover up when in fact she was to the fullest possible . This so called manager and owner did not even apologize for 1. Breaking the law and 2. Making a new mother uncomfortable. Many women from our group posted to their Facebook page and the owner Closed the page down so they could try and hide the fact that they are horrible and wrote nasty and mean backhanded comments to this poor mother who gave a review on their page in a respectful way.

Without a doubt...THE Best place in Fort Worth to get a real Home cooked meal. The prices are reasonable, the waitstaff and managers are always friendly and will do almost anything to accommodate you.
