The management recently changed, making a huge difference in the quality of food they put out. Most of the employees are friendly, but there are a few who obviously have no desire other than to move you along.

I work down the road from this location and I've been eating here (along with my coworkers) for about 4 years now. I've never had a complaint about this place, and I've always considered it the best Whataburger I've ever eaten at. The staff has always been very respectful, they crack jokes with the customer, and they were always very quick. The General manager is very professional, and he is EXTREMELY friendly. Every single time we go in there he always has a smile on his face, and brings an extremely positive vibe to the restaurant. I had no complains whatsoever, until recently.. My coworkers and I have noticed a significant drop in the level of customer service over the past month or so. In the last two weeks I've visited about 6 times, and I've been disappointed at one thing or another 4 out of those 6 times. The first time I was in the drive-thru and I ordered a combo, but was never given the fries. (Not a big deal, because service was always top-notch) so I let it go. The next time my boss and I dined in, and when I got to the cashier to order my food I was Greeted with a "What do you want?" I could not see her name tag because it was under her apron, but my receipt says her name was Jordan J. It's the small things like forgetting my fork in the to-go bag, or forgetting a straw, and the worst is being treated like I am an inconvenience to whomever is behind the counter. And each person I have dealt with since then has not been as professional as they had been these past few years. I don't know if this is coincidence or not, but each of these times I've been disappointed I never saw that General manager who brought so much positive energy to this location. I hope it goes back to how it was, because I really enjoyed spending my lunch breaks here. Once the level of service is brought back up to where it should be, I will change my 3 star rating to what it deserves.
