Whisky River, Charlotte, North Carolina Restaurant Details

Stayed at the Omni Hotel then decided to go to Whiskey River for my bday June 12th and they treated me like ROYALTY!!!! Will be back and the food was great

Not many great things to say about this place. Food is mediocre at best. The service is okay. When we came in we thought they had just opened, no kids menu or drink menu. It's a bar for crying out loud. There should be more than 2 or 3 draft beers. Come to find out that they have been there for 7 years. I honestly don't know how this place is still in business.

Food:

Descent service. Mediocre food. Poor cleanliness. The main walk ways were slippery and a server told me it was the type of flooring when the flooding under my table was the same and not grossly slippery.
I am a restaurant manager and know the difficulty with fruit flies especially with high sales in alcohol but their problem was ridiculous. Their location being in an airport with little open doors to the outside means the bugs are spawning from within.
Just a heads up. Find somewhere else to dine.

Great bar staff, the security staff are assholes. I'm talking these guys wake up in the morning and watch Roadhouse, and think about ways to give people a hard time. Drinks are comparably priced, to other places in Charlotte. Music is ok, but I like the various events they host.

I did not like the restaurant very small portions for the prices. the waitress need to smile more and be nicer. they gave me the wrong check so was too expensive off course I was really mad but well she fixed . the food it wasn't as great as I was expecting and they were out of ribs SATURDAY NIGHT! how is that possible in a BBQ place but anyways. I mean it wasn't what I was expecting. so I was not to happy/.I dnt think I would come back/.
