09/06/2015 1:41 amMy fiancee and I decided to try this place despite some negative reviews regarding portions. It had beautiful ambience, professional waiters, and delicious food in generous portions. I got the filet sandwiches w fresh cut fries, a manhatten and the barrel maker. My fiancee got the gluten-free filet mignon cobb salad. We also shared an apple pie. It was all delicious. We're definitely coming back. |

09/05/2015 11:07 pmA very disappointing evening at The White Chocolate Grill last night, 9-4-15. The artichoke appetizer was too chewy. When we told our server, who was very friendly, she said it was no problem and asked if she might exchange it for another appetizer. We ordered something else, but we were billed for both appetizers -- $23 worth. I ordered the balsamic aged rib-eye, which has been great before, but I got a piece of steak that couldn't be cut very easily, was full of gristle, and had only one or two small edible bits. My plate, with the mangled steak and gristle, sat in front of me for a long time, despite the fact that I had put my silverware to the side. When the server finally came back to the table, she didn't acknowledge the fact that my dinner was nearly untouched or ask if anything was wrong. She asked if I wanted a box. I declined. She whisked the plate away. Because it was my son's birthday and I didn't want to make a big deal, I didn't complain about the steak, but I suffice it to say I ended up paying almost $40 for food that was inedible. I won't be going back. |

08/05/2015 6:13 pmSo I came in today and I had just gotten out of work so I was in dress clothes and all I wanted was a glass of water. I was waiting for the bus just outside the restaurant in the 109 degree heat and was feeling dizzy and dehydrated so I thought to myself why not walk in and ask for a water Togo right? Well apparently they couldn't even give someone a water to go when they offer to pay for it. It's Arizona, scorching hot out and still they wouldn't give someone a glass of water to go. That tells me everything I need to know about the type of people who run the place. |
