Great atmosphere and good beer. Only reason is not 5 stars is parking can be spotty due to how busy the area gets.

I use to come here several years ago. It was better then but they always have had service issues. I stopped in the other day for happy hour. There was only 1 other customer. I sat at the bar. Got my drink and she asked if I wanted a menu. I said yes. She gave me one and took off for 15 min! My drink was empty and I asked for the bill. The waitress sat and flirted with some guy the entire time, even when others came in. They had to go ask for menues!. Avoid this place

Even when crowded and busy, the staff are personable and on time. I've never had to wait for a check, and only once out of the dozens of times I've been here was the food not quick and yummy. A chill place for 1, 2, or 9. Music selection is particularly charming and varied. Disclaimer: This is literally my neighborhood bar after trying the others nearby.

One of my go-to bars in Minneapolis.

One of the best whiskey lists around. The number of single-malt scotches available here is something I really enjoy. They have it all Glenfiddich, Oban, The Balvenie, Laphroaig, Talisker... etc.

Its a bar that feels like a bar. No gimmicks. Not divey, not pretentious. Its quiet enough to have a conversation but always has some good music playing. They have 2 TVs for sporting events. There are always people here, but getting a seat at the bar or at one of the many tables is never a problem. The huge reclaimed wood carving mounted above the bar is something you wont see anywhere else.

The brunch is really good and so is the Ruben. From there its solid bar food that wont disappoint. All the juices in the drinks are fresh squeezed... no really. If you order a screwdriver you get vodka and an orange squeezed into a glass.

The quality of the food is fantastic for the price and what you see on the exterior. The bartenders are entertaining and laid back. If you haven't tried this place at least once, make it a point to do so.
