Whole Foods Market, Lincoln, Nebraska Restaurant Details

Food:

There prices are higher than natural grocers on most things and the food bar has been terrible the last 3 times we have been there. On the bright side most of the time customer service is good.

I've been announcing WF since they opened, but after three visits I've decided it's a place I feel comfortable. What's not to like? Good selection, good food, good atmosphere, and good people.

I know they are a corporation, and I know they are aggressive capitalists, but so are the other places I shop - at least WF is a nice place with good products. I'll be back.

The best customer service I have seen in a long time! I stopped by Whole Foods this morning to get one item. When I arrived they were not due to open for another 15 minutes. A woman (I assumed the Manager) saw me and came outside to ask what I had stopped for. I told her it was no big deal and I couldn't wait until opening as I had an appointment.

She offered to let me in early to grab my one little item. She had someone open a register early to do the transaction. She was so incredibly nice. All of this for a small purchase.

I have always liked this store but this was amazing. I will definitely give them as much of my business as possible. They made my day.

Food:

Good selection, really good frozen foods not available elsewhere. Huge selection of cheeses. Pizza is sometimes amazing, sometimes not. The desserts are wonderful, far better than any other grocer in town. Would love if they had a coffee bar or served wine like some other Whole Foods.

I was there for lunch and wanted to have some indian cuisine, which btw was yummy!!! I wanted to have kofta-curry which apparently was sold out. But they went ahead and made me some for take-out while I ate. Appreciate it!!!
