Whole Foods Market, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Restaurant Details

A few years ago, I had a special friend having surgery in Dayton, Ohio. I wanted him to have a white orchid tree plant in his hospital room upon his first post surgery awakening. (The orchid trees in the OKC stores were beautiful). Alas, Dayton has no Whole Foods! The OKC store, however, has Tara Ahrendt, who refused to say "no". She personally arranged for a delivery to my friend's hospital room. Summary: when my friend awoke from surgery, in his private room, there was a beautiful white orchid tree, delivered from a Whole Foods store, 45 miles away, via special delivery. That's when my love affair with Whole Foods began! Post script: Tara telephoned me here in OKC, to inquire about the Ohio orchid delivery!

I needed a custom gift basket for my Son and Daughter-in-Law to Celebration the Birth of my second granddaughter. I emailed from Texas and talked to the Concierge, Tara Ahrendt, at Whole Foods Market in Oklahoma City who put together the most beautiful basket of fruit, cheeses, crackers, cookies, chocolates, tea, mini diffuser, lavender oil and other goodies. The basket was tied with pink ribbon and coordinating pink Gerber Daisies. It was so beautiful and my Son and Daughter-in-Law and family where very impressed. I liked that she would put something together based on any budget. It was so pretty, the nurses in the Hospital are all talking about it. Thanks for making a Family Birth celebration so memorable, Tara!

There's normal helpful customer service and then there's the amazing people at whole foods of okc. They are never too busy to walk you right to an item you're trying to find and are super knowledgeable with recommendations for your individual needs. Go there today, taste something you've never had before, you will be glad you did.

Great addition to OKC. I mainly go by to get big items that I want to be quality like cheeses, meats, etc. Their coffee bar is good and also doubles as a juice bar. I like to eat here too. The sandwich line has the best ingredients and the staff their are great. The staff in the store in general are always great.

I'm a regular at Whole Foods OKC on weekends and enjoy shopping there. I really think attitude plays a big part in the shopping experience. I enjoy going there and have always had positive doings with store workers. Like Cody, this morning in produce who not only told me what to look for in a ripe mandarin, but cut one open so I could sample it. My advice is go in and have a good time. The world has enough stress and strife already.
