Hello my fellow people. Wilsons has changed i visted on yesterday and the ribs and beef was to die for. I asked and came to find out that it has new owners so all of the old bad reviews should have no place now.

Wilson's is one of the legendary Barbecue places in Tulsa, and they deserve every bit of their reputation. They serve tasty barbecued meats, and plenty of delicious sides along with less common dishes like Sweet Potato Fries, Sweet Potato Pie, and Buttermilk Pie.
They also have one of the best jukeboxes in town- loaded with down home Blues.
Yes, Mr. Wilson has done passed on, but his restaurant is still going strong!

Not sure what it's "World Famous" for. Ribs were tough, definitely needed my teeth to chew them. Beans were watery but tasted good. Potato salad was so-so. Overall good flavor, nice atmosphere, but probably won't be back. There are too many other BBQ places in Tulsa with better quality, and waitress acted like it was an inconvenience to provide tea refills

The lunch special went up. Ok. I understand. But, don't take my pie away. That's what sets you apart from rib crib. Your food quality is equal to rib crib, but you offered pie. I will be going to rib crib from now on. The waitress even said many customers are complaining and writing comments on thier tickets. That isn't correcting the issue so I brought it to the net. I was friends with the owner of white river and he said the key to a good restaurant and loyal clientel is consistency. You failed.
