08/31/2011 8:31 pmThe food is some of the better Chinese I've had in Lincoln. The beef lo-mien is great and the chicken wings that are on the appetizer menu are awesome, and I'm not really much of a wing guy. |

12/09/2010 4:27 pmI was robbed! This was our first and last time going to this hell on earth. Imagine this... Ribs that where probably made a week ago left in the fridge and reheated but not all the way through. The ribs where cold in the middle. Very Dry. The service was horrible and the atmosphere was a little fountain with the lights turned off. My meal for two ended up to be 60 dollars with no tip but disappointment. This place may have been good ages ago but, now is yuck... yuck is all I have to say. |

11/22/2010 6:21 pmI stopped into Wind Chimes at 4pm on a Sunday afternoon to find the Dining Room dark and vacant and the server on the phone. He took our order in mid-conversation and handed us a ticket that was $10-$12 over what I had anticipated for dinner for two. The food was good; large portions of meat and tasty sauce. But I rate value, service and atmosphere over the taste of my General Tso. |

11/12/2010 1:12 amThe number of older reviews on here hearkens to a time when this eatery must have been pretty good. When we went, it was quite bad. When we went they were not busy. The establishment was only about 1/3 full at the most. The interior tries for an upscale look. This doesn't look like your typical chinese buffet or take out joint. There is a bar up front and table seating throughout. However, all is not what it seems. Upkeep was very poor. There was heavy build up of dirt behind fountains and other obstructions near the walls. The Men's bathroom went for a somewhat upscale look but clearly was not cleaned often. The garbage can was overflowing, there was no toilet paper, and the countertop was dirty. There was an artificial plant present that was so old it was dusty and deteriorating all over the counter. The women's room had no hand towels to dry your hands on. Again, this was during a slow period. Often poor exteriors only hint at the problems in the kitchen. |
