Fun atmosphere. Mixed drinks seem to be expensive for size/quality. Great DJ.

This place appeared to be ran by a bunch of ole has-been farts. A run down ass old place with some ole rude waitresses.

Pros: Cheap beer and people actually sing. It's a hole in the wall.
Cons: dingy atmosphere, older crowd and staff. (Nothing wrong with older people, they just kill the vibe like mom and dad haha.)

Hey everyone. As most people know, THE WINDJAMMER IS NOT CLOSED!

The Windjammer has been in business for 50 years. The Windjammer has been voted the #1 Karaoke bar in Memphis TN for the last 7 or 8 years in a row by the Memphis Flyer readers poll. It is unfortunate that (my guess) we have haters because of we are #1. Ruthell the owner (age 82) would love for you to visit and judge for yourself. If you visit, you will probably become part of the Windjammer family.

I had the most horrible experience I've ever had at any bar on 6/5/2015. I was accused of perverted actions, yelled and cursed at, and threatened by the staff. I was discriminated, harassed, and attacked. I would not recommend this establishment.
