Wings Sports Grille, Montgomery, Alabama Restaurant Details

Food:

Wings got awfully small since I was last here. Friendly staff. Was busy and we had good service but we usually go to the bar to get that. Burger was good Prob can't go wrong there. Good experience overall.

Food:

WOW! I don't think there are enough words to describe how good their wings are. I Usually get the snack or the small with the hot flavor. Then, I ask for some hot sauce on the side with Ranch dressing. I dip the wing in ranch, then dip it into the side of hot sauce (the Ranch won't stick to the wing if you dip it in hot sauce first). It is so delicious.

Their hot sauce isn't just hot, it's got an awesome flavor to it. We always have a bottle of it in the pantry to use when we make wings or anything else with hot sauce in it. I've gotten to where I prefer it over Sriracha.

My wife always orders the buffalo sandwich. The curly fries are good, but they're not exceptional (I'm not sure what an exception fry would look like anyway).

The service is always great, even when it's busy. We just happened to show up one Saturday night at the end of an Arkansas/Ole Miss game. We don't know anything about football, so we were unaware that everyone would be rooting for Arkansas because if they won, it would position Alabama for a chance at first place. So, when Arkansas got first down with some off-the-wall wild play and eventually scored a touchdown and won the game, the place erupted. The servers kept their cool and kept our drinks full. When I went to the restroom, I saw a HUGE crowd of people waiting for tables. While I was in the restroom, I overheard that the Alabama game was about to start. I don't know if you know this, but Alabamians LOVE their football! We managed to escape with our lives. :)

We will always visit Baumhower's on a regular basis as it is on our list of favorite restaurants. It is far superior to the chain that just reopened on Taylor road.

Food was great! Huge crowd but only a 10 minute wait for a table on a Friday night dinner rush. My wife and I both had wings and enjoyed. Our server, DeMarcus, did a phenomenal job making sure that we were taken care of. We are visiting from Jacksonville, FL and would most certainly dine here again.

We brought the kids on a Friday night. We all had wings and they are on point. Big and fresh. Great sauce choices. The best though was the service. Shantoria was our server and she gets 5 stars!! Also had another employee who noticed we were from Texas come by and say hi. He also was a Texan. This was a great stop and we will be back.

I absolutely love (Baumhower's) Wings! After trying several flavors of wings & lips, I stumbled onto the Jamaican jerk wings, and I have never looked back. To me they are awesome, such a wonderful flavor & the wings are always cooked until crispy. I always enjoy going there and have never had any problems except that sometimes it's a little too warm during the summer. The only reason I didn't give Wings 5 stars is because they removed the heavenly onion strings from their menu, and they booted NTN trivia right out of the place. I used to love playing trivia while grazing on wings & fries.
