I don't think it's fair to charge $13.99 for a four piece catfish dinner and only receive two pieces of fish and one side. Taking two fillets and cutting them in half pieces to make four pieces. And last night our fries weren't even crisp they were soft. You all need to go and have lunch at Bayou Cat's on Arkansas. Now those people know how to do fish and shrimp right at a fair price. They give you full size, crispy, crunchy fillets and big, butterflied shrimp. And they have GREAT lunch specials too!

Went today for a catfish special. The fish was tasty, seasoned very well and just the right amount of crisp.

I was initially apprehensive when I noticed the tartar sauce was mustard-based, but I was pleasantly surprised when I tasted it.

The fries were seasoned perfectly even though they weren't fresh-cut potatoes.

Overall, very well done. I'll definitely come back.

We went to TJs on a Friday evening after reading the good reviews about their catfish. After waiting in line twice, once to place our order, and once to pay for it, I was told very flippantly by the lady working the register, "we don't take credit cards". I offered both my Visa and MasterCard, as I did not have cash, and was told again, "we don't take credit cards."

There was quite a long line and, quite frankly, it was embarrassing as the lady and everyone in the line simply watched my wife and I walk out the door (which displays all major credit cards, including Visa and MasterCard). We went to another restaurant and had a very nice dinner.

When I got home, I left a brief comment on TJs Facebook page about them not accepting credit cards, and the owner responded that (a). they DO take credit cards, but maybe sometimes they have trouble with "chip credit cards", (b). he didn't like the "tone" of my post, and (c). that they had enjoyed a very productive night (without my business). The next day, he had deleted the posts from their FB page.

Judging by the size of the crowd and the length of the lines the food must be pretty good, but if you want to eat, you'd better have cash and be willing to face a "we're doing YOU a favor" attitude.
