This place would easily receive 5 stars if it were an actual full bar. Unfortunately, it is not.
I am not saying this place does not serve alcohol; it most certainly does. This is the only place I can find bottles of Duvel Ale and Cooper's Red at the same time, having an extremely ludicrous amount of import beers available. The beer has kept me so occupied I cannot vouch for the liquor.
Why would I say this is not a bar, then? Because of the equally ludicrous closing times. Quite often this bar is closed by 8:30 PM...which is why I say it is not really a bar. The number of times I have craved a foreign beer, or had a friend from overseas in and hoped they could taste something from back home, only to find it closed at an early hour....
Stay open until 11 PM (at least!) and you'll get 5 stars. Until then, only 3 for you.
Later edit : I just walked by to get some cream cheese from Einsteins, and noticed new hours - open until Midnight during the week, and 1 AM on Friday/Saturday nights. Yay! Only 4 stars, because I haven't been in since the owner change (?)...further investigation is required.
