Wok King, Boise, Idaho Restaurant Details

Cannot wait to see them rebuild after the fire at the complex. Seriously the BEST honey walnut shrimp on the planet. Like a dessert, it's so good!

My wife asked me what I thought the best chinese food in Boise was, it's definitely Wok King. Their Mandarin chicken specialty is the best, their egg rolls are fresh. I love this place next to SF 415 area

Probably THE best Chinese food I have ever had. I take my entire family and we all love it, we have been going for years. I always get my friends addicted to it. Food comes out at a good time and has amazing flavor. It is better than other places around it like PF Changs and Quik Wok. Best Honey Walnut Shrimp around. Their hot and sour soup is full of flavor unlikely many places where it is just a broth. Good price for the quantity of food as well!

I'm a big fan of the Wok King. It's the best Chinese food I've found since I moved to Boise. My favorite is the honey walnut shrimp. Their crab rangoons are only so-so, though.

I use to LOVE this place. I would order pickup once or even twice a week, until recently, when I was absolutely shocked at what I found. I have never had a better hot and sour soup in Boise, and always recommended it to friends, who loved it as well when they tried it. A week ago, I ordered it for lunch as usual and picked it up. I was half way done eating it when I saw a bright green object on my spoon. I picked it out, and to my absolute HORROR, it was a TACK! A green tack was in my soup and I am so relieved I found it before I swallowed it! I hate to imagine what could have happened if I did. After that, I started thinking if there is a tack in my food, what other possible unsanitary things could be in there that I couldn't even see and it made me sick. I am absolutely disgusted and can't believe this actually happened. I have never written a review for any restaurant but I really think that people should know my experience before they dine here.
