I've been wishing and hoping that my new move into Hyde Park would bring me across a great local asain cusiane restaurant.-Having no idea if one would actually appear but within my first month in my new nieghborhood, I stumbled into this place. It has good-great food at really good prices. Trust me I LOOVVVEEE Asain cusine and this place at such affordable prices has great options and the tastiest food. Yay!

It is what it is. It's nothing amazing, but it's decent quality for Chinese food on the go. The beef fried rice is my go-to and I'm usually not very disappointed with what I get. Worth your money if you need something cheap. Staff appears to all be Taishanese, so practice your Cantonese if you want to order something special.

I've been getting from from here for many years. The Kung Pao chicken is very good but there service has always been bad. The people have never smiled, laughed, or shown any pleasant gestures at all.

Quite dreadful food. Fine prices, but you will feel ill if you eat this sickly, greasy, unrecognizable fare.

I was down with a cold and hadn't eaten anything all day. The wonton soup fit the bill perfectly. Chicken broth, meaty wontons and plenty of crunchy bits of bok choy served piping hot. Just what my addled head needed. Also ordered the BBQ pork fried rice. That's fried rice Chinatown style! Lots of meat, egg and rice, light on the sauce and oil, no MSG, and none of those icky peas and carrots you find in the standard carryout places. Haven't tried the rest of their offerings but these two items are right on the money.

To all the detractors complaining about the so-called "nasty" staff: they're not there to joke around with you. It's called "running a business." Let's see you run a restaurant in China (in Chinese) with a limited grasp of the language and culture and see how well you fare. Personally, I found them pleasant and prompt, in fact our food was ready before they said it would be. I'll take that over nasty American attitudes any day of the week.
