Real Chinese food, fresh and well cooked lures locals to this authentic (as in you probably won't recognize two-thirds of the menu items) moderately priced dim-sum specialist in outer SE; the cavernous open dining room can be noisy and service varies, but so long as you're feeling adventurous, you're in for a delicious meal.

Dim sum is average. There are better options downtown. I'm like their egg tarts, and chicken feet. Although those dishes are hard to mess up.

This place didn't simply fail to live up to their impressive reputation, this was just bad food. We tried ten different items, but there were really only 2 flavor profiles: oily seafood mush or oily land meat mush. I'd be disappointed if a frozen package from Trader Joe's turned out this bad. You'll get a fresher bbq pork bun from the counter at Uwajimaya.

Portland is known for its Asian food, mainly Thai or SE Asian, but if you want the real deal, honest to goodness Hong Kong style Chinese food, this is the only place in Portland to go.

My friends and i go here annually for our traditional Christmas night Chinese food feast, and they do not disappoint. Real Peking Duck, awesome seafood dishes, and traditional favorites like orange chicken or mongolian beef are truly a cut above.

If you want a divey experience with high-class food, try the lounge instead of the main dining room.

Service attentive, prices reasonable, and family friendly. Parking can be a challenge when really busy.

Of all the Chinese food in town, this is the one place I send my friends to as it is the best in the region, hands down.

I can not understand the other recent low reviews for this wonderful place. Either the restaurant has recently fixed all of that or maybe some people posted on the wrong Wong's as there are some other restaurants around that share the name?

I got used to having a wonderful Dim Sum place while I was in Colorado. So now that I love in Eugene, with a total lack of it around, I make ventures to the local Dim Sum wherever I'm traveling. Luckily I stopped here in Portland and will be back every time I'm taking someone to the airport.

Yum.

I arrived at 10:30am. Within 3 minutes was seated with dumplings (shrimp, shumai) and bao along with tea. Devoured it, made an order to go, and was out by 11am.

Very good, the restaurant is spotless, and staff friendly. I have a sensitive nose and no detectable fish smell as noted in other reviews (besides, at a seafood restaurant that isn't a bad thing).

Can't wait for my next trip here.

The two course duck is our go to comfort food dish. We just had the black bean green beans and oyster mushrooms and spinach in abalone sauce and those were terrific too. Kids loved the nai-wan bao. Always a yummy meal.
