Woo Chon, Reno, Nevada Restaurant Details

Food:

Went to Woo Chon Sushi with some friends the other day and had a great experience. It was not busy when we went, which probably helped with customer service and quality. Overall, the food and service was good. We will probably go back. The specialty rolls were fun and it was a nice variation to want some might call traditional sushi.

Food:

Not only is the sushi the best I have ever found (and I travel a lot), but the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. They prepared rolls for us that weren't even on the menu and made one up in our honor. We went there two nights in a row because it was so good--even better than the sushi at the Atlantis where we were staying.

I would definitely recommend this restaurant--and did to quite a few people.

If you're hungry, go "all you can eat". It's a great value for all the fresh sushi you want, made to order before your very eyes.

Woo Chon rocks. I have been to every sushi place in Reno and if you are looking for a restaurant with great service, great selection, and FRESH fish, Woo Chon cannot be beat. Very much a local place where the people who know quality would go. They have excellent chefs (No idea what the lady's problem is below). The new owners were down to earth, attentive, very friendly and extremely passionate about their restaurant. How often do you walk into a restaurant and get waited on by the owner. NEVER!!! I have been going to Woo Chon for years and in my opinion the place is better than ever. Bottom line - if you want GREAT fish, GREAT Service, and an amazing dinner at a GREAT price - Woo Chon is the spot!

Food:

Food has always been good, but the new owners are annoying and superficial. Ever since they took over, the quality of the food took a dive. Tons of rice, thin fish, and bad cuts of meat. It's not the worst place in town, but it hasn't been the best since the new guys took over. What's worse is that the owners' son is a chef there and he's a huge creep. He's always leering at girls and staring down my shirt, even when my boyfriend is sitting right next to me. Good luck getting his attention if there is a pretty girl at the bar.

Food:

My wife and I go to Woo Choo almost ever other week. The staff is so friendly. The new owners have done a great job of making the restaurant a better environment and they are making new long rolls all the time. I love this place they are the best sushi place in town.
