04/19/2016 10:17 pmWent here with coworkers for lunch. It was a buffet, I had never had Indian food before this. Loved everything they had at the buffet and got a second helping! The sweet tea was terrible though. |

04/16/2016 3:42 amThe worst thing is these people deleted my post instead of working on poor reviews. I even noticed others post were also deleted. I am putting my reviews again hope this time it won't be repeated. Recently I visited this restaurant for first time it was hard to figure out the location and there is no sign boards outside which can be seen clearly from roads. As we entered the staff were unwelcoming and biggest thing when we were served food these waiters were constantly staring at us and other guest also which was purily uncomfortable to talk or enjoy the meal. Maybe its management fault that the staff are trained. The management needs to be change ASAP. I don't prefer to go same restaurant again. |

03/27/2016 1:35 pmIt is highly overrated, over praised doesn't worth a try. This is the worst veg Indian food I ever had in us restaurants.. They put 19$ on spl thali which hardly nothing more than a plate meal with ordinary items that tastes bad |

02/15/2016 12:40 amThis is my all time favorite Indian restaurant. Ive eaten in a lot of Indian places in many US cities and this one is the best hands down. Its all vegetarian but so good and non-vegetarians will love it also. I suggest the lunch buffet and anything manchurian (gobi, baby corn, etc)! They have south Indian and Indo-Chinese food too which is harder to find. |

01/18/2016 9:45 pmWith much hopes put on the iconic name (even though this restaurant has nothing to do with the iconic woodlands restaurant in INDIA), and after reading some review we went out of our way (2.5 hrs driving) to Nashville Woodlands. I am from India, I lived in NY/NJ for over 13 yrs and I moved to TN. This is horrible. they don't even know the basic difference between Masala Dosa ( the masala must be inside), Paper Dosa aka Neyy Roast and regular Dosa. Also I tired Malai Kofta , I just spit it out. The chef, the owner and the workers must try food from restaurants like Chopaatti - Atlanta, Tadka - New Jersey or atleast must ask their mother for help to learn how to cook authentic vegetarian Indian Dishes. The 2 stars goes to the order taker who did his part well - humble, kind, ready to serve ( maybe he knew Indian clients wont have smiling face after trying this garbage) |
