The pizza tasted really salty. Like someone threw a handful of salt in the sauce. I remember it tasting better last time I had their pizza.

Yet another fantastic pizza place in San Diego. Why can't I find as many great pizza's here in LA?? I used to really enjoy going to woodstock's for pizza and beer with my bestie. We'd typically go mid-week and have a pitcher and get a pizza. Fun place for college kids!

I'm from Chicago so I feel like I have a little authority on pizza! This place is the best I've found in San Diego. Most places have New York style floppy pieces of pizza but not this place! I love how the pieces keep their integrity and can actually hold topping without falling apart.

They have a lot of crust options. I've tried the gluten free crust and honestly I could not tell the difference, taste-wise, from regular crust. The only difference I felt was that I didn't get as full or bloated as pizza will usually make me feel.

Their pizza topping combinations are worth trying too! I had a tater tot pizza once. TATER TOTS, yep.. they have that. I definitely ordered that more out of curiousity than anything else! But you know what, it was good! The other one that really stands out to me is the spicy chicken pizza. The hot sauce actually has a kick. I normally don't like chicken on pizza, but this was like a delicious BBQ sandwhich. Oh Woodstock's.. maybe we lunch today. I miss you.

SDSU students and alums call this College Area pizzeria's flagship an "institution" for its "cheesy" but "not greasy" pies, "unique crust style" and plethora of "tasty" toppings, all offered for "reasonable" prices; counter service staffers are "great", and the "fun atmosphere" carries over to a second, more "kid-friendly" spot in Pacific Beach.
