At my first lunch at this restaurant I took a chance on the Reuben. I've eaten Reuben sandwiches from Oregon to Pennsylvania and thought I'd sampled the best there was. Woodsweather outdid them all on that first trip and I had to try a second one to see if it was for real or just blind luck the first time. Today's Reuben, if anything, outdid the first experience. Finely sliced and well prepared meat with just enough kraut and sauce to create a moist, but not sloppy, sandwich. Unlike so many others who use a blended bread (light and dark) the folks at Woodsweather stand by the traditional rye bread lightly toasted. This is a marvelous sandwich and should be a place where all Reuben lovers meet to satisfy their hunger for a good mouthful of food.
