Food:
01/19/2015 9:43 pm.We ordered the Philly Sandwhich and the Tarheel Burger, bland as hell! The burger and pulled pork had barely any flavor. I'm not sure if these folks are appealing to the hipster crowd or if they are just really dense, but literally every beer but 3 on the draft list was an IPA, Stout, or Porter. |

03/01/2014 6:42 pmHave to echo the other poor reviews here - mediocre food served cold by an extremely overworked and inattentive crew. Was like pulling teeth (20+ minutes) to get drink refills; manager was also tending bar and therefore unavailable, and it appeared that the waitstaff had been instructed to prioritize high-profit items (beer) over everything else. No interest in returning; far better alternatives exist. |

08/10/2013 4:34 pmWoody's is a sports bar with a lot of loudness to it. The place is covered in sports, beer, and just random items from all over including a moose with bras hanging off it. In addition to the must-have domestic beers Woody's caters to your inner beer snob along with all the other bar foods that come with watching sports. Plenty of TV's and feeds to watch almost any game you can think of. |

07/05/2013 11:06 pmAfter living in Raleigh for 14 years, we finally decided to try Woody's. It is AMAZING. The menu is creative and KILLER, and the food was DELICIOUS. We got poppers, chicken wings, and quesadillas (half-price happy hour). The food was SOOO good, and the hot wings were flavorful, but not hot compared to the phenomenal jalapeno poppers. The waitress warned us the poppers are hot. No joke! REAL jalapenos, absolutely huge, and the hottest and best we've ever had! My husband said he's horrified they'll change their menu - it's amazing, and we can't wait to try more. The only down side we experienced was that two of the craft beers we ordered (out of six) were out. The waitress had great recs on what we'd like instead, though. Great vibe, great location, FUN servers, and legendary food. WHY haven't we been eating here sooner?! |
