Wow Bao, Chicago, Illinois Restaurant Details

Worst rice bowl ever. I had the kung-pao chicken. Well, as much as I could stomach. Otherwise, a nice fast food place.

A little expensive for what you get. But the food is good. The curry bao is my fav.

Almost decided to buy some until I read the menu. It is ok they want to create some new buns, but please don't call them "Asian bao." Glad didn't waste $.

Review for food only: I've heard nothing but amazing things about Wow Bao, and I get it. That said, I just think I'm not a huge fan of the buns. They are definitely standard Asian buns compared to what I've had before, but for me they're just too doughy and sweet, even for the savory fillings. BUT, the fillings are tasty and texture is great. And the bowls are tasty.
