06/30/2015 9:10 amWent here for a bite (and some beer) before going to the Horizon Theater which is only a block away. This was a Friday night. They were packed. |

06/28/2015 8:13 pmI love home brewing and trying new spots and the beers they craft. Wrecking Bar is exceptional! Each beer was distinct and flavorful and represented the craftsmanship of the beer. The food was excellent and reasonably priced with great atmosphere and service. You need to stop by if you enjoy craft beer, great food and a unique atmosphere! |

05/08/2015 3:19 pmOne of my biggest regrets in life was the other night, when I had a grilled cheese with bourbon ham and a side of macaroni & cheese from Wrecking Bar Brewpub, ate half of each, boxed up the rest, and got home only to discover that I left the rest of my food at the restaurant. I'm (surprise!) a cheese-fanatic, and this meal was exactly what I needed to sate my almost constant desire for cheese. It was so delicious that I found myself explaining the various cheeses used in each dish on the phone to my brother when I got home. That's when I realized I couldn't find the box and, panicked, I searched my car, only to realize it was not there either. I called the restaurant, but alas--the other half of my meal had been trashed, some unknowing busboy clearing it away, surely unaware of the box's priceless value. The only thing to do now is to go back and repeat this meal so that I can be sure it wasn't all some savory, cheesy dream. |

08/13/2015 12:03 pmThis L5P public house gem attracts "more than just the beer-loving crowd" with well-made, creative pub grub, refreshing cocktails and, of course, impressive brews; the atmosphere is delightful in the former mansion, where the friendly staff makes you feel like you're a welcome friend – what more could you want?|Saved from the wrecking ball, this stunning old mansion in bohemian Little Five Points has been converted into a beautiful brewpub dispensing an ever-changing suds selection from rotating taps; some wish the decent bar food were as good as the hospitality and the cool basement setting, but overall it's still a terrific addition to the neighborhood. |
