Nice place for a late night snack. I tried the duck, gyoza and a few skewers. Everything was nice and hot. There are some interesting selections for the yakitori.

Quite a diverse menu. The eel over rice dish was delicious. I also enjoyed the different yakatori selections, and of course, the quail egg. It's a safe choice.

Lived in NY for a 2 months or so. My drunk self always seemed to wander back here.
But my sober self loves it as well. I usually get the Yakitori Sampler A (the one without the unusual meats) and split with someone. LOVE THEIR Hakata Pork RAMEN. I think it's better than Ippudo's. Almost as good as Daikokuya (in LA).
Funny story, my friend and I wandered here drunk on our trek from 3 sheets saloon to 13 steps. I had another friend waiting for us at 13 steps but we HAD to have our ramen. Mind you, it was about 90 degrees at night, sweat dripping down our faces as we walked, but it was a craving we had to satisfy. We both ate ours in 5 minutes. Came out even more drunk (I guess from the heat) but super content!
Line is sometimes long especially at night. Crowded seating. I'm going back to NY in the winter and am coming here!

Food is always pretty good but service isn't. The waitress would rather give you a crooked, crammed table for three on an empty night than give you a four seater that you can enjoy your Yakitori comfortably. Now keep in mind the table is really for two, but your getting a fold up chair for the third patron and you have 5 dishes and 3 appetizers coming up. Again why do we tip?

Usually this place is very packed and be prepared to wait on line for 30min-1hr.
