The homemade teriyaki sauce is the backbone of the many dishes that use it. Not salty or overtly sweet, excellent to go with meticulously BBQ meats, side dishes are excellent as well with zoshui being especially good to finish the meal with.

If I was rating on food alone, I would give it a 5 star. But since I have to take into account service... I would only give Yakitoriya a 3 star. Only one person can take the order even though there are two other waitstaff. Once you order, the wait can be well over 30 min.
