The staff clearly didn't want to be there, and I don't blame them with a manager who yelled at them for a customer who didn't order properly. The food was okay; I've had better and worse. I'm sure if I had eaten there while it was fresh (rather than drive 25 minutes home), it would have been better.

Our family's been coming here for ages. It's a real small family owned place. Fish is not cheap to catch, clean, freeze, and import all the way to CO. So prices are going to reflect that. If you want to feed 4 adults, it's going to cost you ~$50. But fish is something I don't think you should be buying 'cheap.' It's good. It's simple. The guys have always been friendly to their guests. The parking lot is a PITA due to size and neighborhood but other than that, give it a shot!

I was 6 years old in 1976 when we moved to Westminster Colorado, I can't tell you how many times that we have been to York Shire but I can tell you it's been excellent every time. as people get older in their lives and move on you are typically see that they Pass the business on to their children sometimes things change so much it's never the same but I can tell you Yorkshire it is 1 of the best places i have ever been and the same consistency ever since they open the doors and my family still loves to stop by grab some fish and chips have a great conversation and then go on about their day thank you to the next generation for keeping it the same as it was and it always will be. you're more than just a restaurant to us, you're really more like family even though we don't know each other on a first name basis we are your customers for life, Betty (Mom) and Mark (Son) Wonsee, Denver Colorado
