08/20/2015 2:01 amDid he spit in my tea? Probably! Terrible service. First off, my bubble tea straw was bent. This wouldn't be an issue except that when I went to punch it into my tea it didn't and subsequently it knocked my tea over spilling it. I apologized and informed the guy in front. He went about cleaning up well I waited to either order or be compt'ed a new bubble tea. Once he is done he is acting super agitated and tells me "It will be done in a sec." He then proceeds to take the order of two new customers make their tea and give it to them. After that a delivery comes in and he starts haggling with that guys for 5-10 minutes. Finally he goes to make my tea but, unlike the time before or with the other two customers, he grabs by tea and takes it in back where I can't see it. When he returns he rushes it over to be sealed. After it is sealed he sets it down still behind the counter so I can't reach it while he talks to the delivery guy some more. All I wanted was some bubble tea, at this point it has been 20 minutes and I have an 85 percent chance that my angry server has spat in my tea. Disgusting! Did I mention I had even tipped before all this happened? I give up and go to leave. Right as I open the door he mockingly calls my order. WTH is wrong with this kid? Do you self a service and go to ANY other bubble tea spot. |

09/13/2013 11:07 pmYunnie is amazing-- one of the best bubble tea experiences I've had. Mediocre bubble tea is everywhere-- really good places are rare. Their red bean tea actually had a dominant flavor note besides sugar, unlike most "flavor" choices which just seem to be sugar and food coloring. It tasted of black tea and was a great combination of sweet and caffeine. I got half boba and half mango jelly as toppings: the jelly was super mango-y and the tapioca was rehydrated to perfection. It provided the perfect bite, not too gummy, not too hard. It was about $4 or $5-- pretty good value for the size you get (bigger than most). The young student behind the counter was also super friendly. Win win. |
