My fave!! Delicious Japanese food with a twist. I love that it's not traditional, but the taste or quality is not sacrificed and love this place. consistent quality! great food.

This place is amazing. Hands down one of my favorite sushi restaurants in Chicago. They have some unique rolls that combine flavors for truly delicious experience!! The summer breeze + ocean roll is outstanding.

Top picks... Robata Bowl D, sweet potato tempura, teriyaki salmon, beef short rib skewers and the chicken skewers with peanut sauce. They also just happen to include great customer service to top off the meal.

Let's get this out of the way...the food was excellent. Why 1 star? The chef that was picking his nose, picking his ears, and touching his hair while getting plates and other items for the sushi chefs. When I told my server about it and asked that that individual not be anywhere near the food being prepared for me, he reported it to one of the women in the front. In moments, the chefs seemed to know (perhaps booger boy was talked to) and proceeded to glare at our table for the remainder of our meal. Not a word was said again. No apology. No management acknowledgement. Nothing. What we ate was quite good and seemingly mucus free, but I won't return.

Was about a ten minute wait on a Friday night, which wasn't too bad since it was packed and they had originally quoted us a 20 minute wait.

We started with the tuna poke, which was alright. The presentation was pretty awesome though, which the avocado sliced and fanned upright to look like a shell. The Chicago Spring roll was amazeballs--- I loved the Chicago flag themed sauce, and the flavors just mixed so well--- it must have been the cream cheese, because cream cheese makes everything taste like heaven. Got the Dragon, which was recommended by a server. Bleh. Gross. We ate a couple of pieces and decided we weren't hungry enough to eat the rest. I did however take it home, and it was better cold--- maybe because then I wouldn't have to taste the sliminess of the eel.

Good service though, and fun atmosphere. Decor of manga pages on the wall.
