05/31/2015 4:38 pmI love this place endlessly. Yes, there can be a wait during peak hours on the weekends but if you go around those hours it's well worth it. The staff is amazing, and while the food might take a hot minute it's always incredible and well sized. Half priced bottles of wine on Sundays make mimosas a must-order and the omelettes and salads are enormous. The patio can be noisy with dogs and kids but hey, that's not Zada's fault. Off hours are the best time to visit, when you have a choice of seating and can socialize with the staff. |

05/03/2015 7:30 pmWe went today and I was disappointed. Wasn't a fan of all the barking dogs around the outside dining area. I love animals but not in a eating establishment. We had to wait 35 minutes to be seated then it took about another 30 minutes to receive our food. While waiting I looked around the table and there was food around our table, food and trash beside the booth, the window was really dirty, and the window seal had liquids/food/ and dust. It looked like the place had not been cleaned in a while. The two jam dispensers had small black ants crawling over them and there was a wasp climbing up the window into the blinds. The staff looked under washed. I know the area and the style of people but under washed in a restaurant business is never acceptable. The tan band aids on one of the waiters ears covering up his gauges were really gross. |

11/27/2014 11:34 amAlthough this place seems to be confused about their atmosphere, it's a good place to go occasionally. The people that work here are great and down to earth. The food is ok but they are trying to stick with a mainly vegetarian theme. Service is a little slow at times so you better be prepared to have a conversation to make the time pass with whoever you bring. The price wasn't too bad but it is a little high for a breakfast nook type of place. They also consider themselves an art gallery "ha!" so you can forget taking pictures inside. |
