My wife and I ordered zalads this evening, 4/19/2015, she got the new version and I ordered the blackened blue salad. I've eaten here many times and this salad is my favorite but tonight I was very disappointed. There was an overabundance of lettuce and so little blue cheese, I thought they'd made a mistake and given me a side zalad. The chicken was cold, which is not right. Usually the meat is warmer, but tonight it tasted like it had been halfway thawed and it was not tender but chewy with little flavor. I ordered a 5 piece fingers which were good, but I only drive out of my way for the zalad, which I probably won't do again. Zaxbys has lost my business.

After contacting customer service I'm so glad the excessively cooked wing problem has been corrected.

I have been a fan of the Tunnel Rd/70 Zaxby's for many years now. After my visit to the drive through last night I am seriously rethinking visiting another Zaxby's. My girlfriend and I pulled up to the drive through line and there was an employee smoking at the dumpster. After finishing his cigarette he walked towards the backdoor of the restaurant. He spit three times on his way in and then just as he was about to shut the back door to the restaurant he spit once more through the doorway. That made me want to pull away immediately, but I hoped that he wouldn't be the one preparing my food, seeing as how he would hopefully go in and need to wash his hands while my food was being made. We ordered a Lg Zax Plate with two extra sauces. When we got the meal we headed out and my girlfriend began eating. She told me that there were only 6 tenders in the Lg meal. That wasn't the worst of it, the tenders, fries, and bread were all cold. My girlfriend and I were on our way home from Swannanoa and just wanted to get dinner at a restaurant that we enjoy. We find it hard to want to go back to a restaurant that disgusted us so much.
