Zaxby's, Atlanta, Georgia Restaurant Details

Food:

Went there today to buy a zalad for me and my significant other, and they absolutely let me down. Being that I am a former employee of Zaxby's I know how the salads are supposed to look, taste, and be presented and they did none of the above. First off, my tomatoes were soggy as hell and the lettuce was soggy as well, nothing about my salad or my fiancé salad tasted fresh. Absolutely disgusted, I'm calling corporate.

Today I went through the drive through and received my order which totaled 20.31. I handed the cashier 50.31. I watched her count what appreared to be 30.00 but left there and went to the gas station to pay for 30.00 in gas (with the change I received) only to learn that I had 29.00. I immediately called the store and asked for the manager, Owen and began to explain what happened. I gave him the cashier's name and explained that she didn't put in the amount tendered (50.00) she entered 20.31 (displayed on the receipt). Owen tells me its nothing he can do. I told him her drawer should have been over $1. He explains that they had already counted her till and there was nothing he could do. I asked who owned the store and he begins to argue with me and avoid telling me who owns the store and who the district manager is. It wasn't about the dollar as much as it was about the poor customer service he displayed. I was merely wanting to make him aware of the situation and he became defensive and irrate. I will kindly take my business to the Zaxby's on Campbellton - Fairburn Rd. Thank you, Owen. You further confirmed what customer service should not look like.

Usually stop by after a flight, but no more. This has consistently been one of the dirtiest Zaxbys we've ever encountered. Service is slow, orders never quite right, drink machines overflowing with melting ice , condiment station out of ketchup, etc. I walked into the bathroom, and walked right back out, they obviously hadn't been cleaned in hours, the trashcan was overflowing and not a bit of toilet paper in sight. Out in the parking lot, lots of discarded cups and trash lying around. Just a nasty, nasty place. We've been to dozens and dozens of Zaxbys all over the Southeast, and this is the worst -- and not showing any signs of improving. No one needs a chicken wing this badly.

I love Zaxbys but this location is always slow and the service is not good at all. I waited over 20 minutes for my meal. This does not sound like fast food to me.

This Zaxby's has consistently shown that they do not care about customers.

I go to the one in Norcross all the time (3 or 4 times a week). There, you get a 'welcome', 'please', and 'thank you'. Nothing tastes burned or overcooked. Fries taste great, aren't soggy, and have the right amount of seasoning on them. You can get in and out of the drive-thru easily (the one in East Point feels like they are trying to trap you from getting out when you realize the service is so slow). You can get sodas made with FILTERED water and with the signature Zaxby's little cubes (anyone who has been to a good Zaxby's and ordered drinks knows).

Take all of the above conversation and reverse it. Nasty, unfiltered water being mixed in with the Coke with some weird sliced ice that makes it taste like water down Dr. Pepper. Fries that must've been sitting around for hours. Dry, overcooked wings and tenders. The service line is so slow, you wonder if they even thought they were going to have customers that day... That is East Point Zaxby's ... and even Fulton Industrial Zaxby's - but that is a review for another day.

My last time going to this Zaxby's was 2 months ago. I realized how bad it was when I had such a good experience at the Norcross one, so I decided to review it. I will keep the streak going and tell my friends.
