I had the opportunity to try this quaint unique restaurant. My friend had been there before and highly recommended it. We had a mixed veggie and meat sampler with shiro (chickpeas), gomen wat (collard greens), yemisir kay wat (red lentils), gomen alicha (cabbage, carrots and potatoes), spicy chicken, mincheta bish (ground beef with spices) all atop a freshly made injera (flatbread). The fun part was partaking of all this goodness with our hands (no utensils provided) with plenty of spongy, light injera. Our meal was fresh with lots of savory spices, the servings were generous and wait staff pleasant.

Plus: Allowed to bring our own wine with a small corkage fee.

Sat at our table for 20 minutes before anyone even brought us water or menus. When the plates finally did come out there was hardly any food on the plate. the portions were so tiny it was ridiculous. Also it looked like someone threw up on the plate it was so disgusting looking the chicken was bloody and the waitress was rude worst experience ever I would never go back it was gross

The waitresses were very friendly and helpful. My combination plate was tasty and the injeera seemed a little underdone. Most combination plates combine 4 items, theirs was only three and the cost was 30 percent more than what I've paid other places.

My first experience with Ethiopian food and it was fantastic. I can say that the food had amazing flavor (menue 1c). Food was served promptly, and the woman serving was very gracious and provided sides to accompany the main meal. Great first experience.

Love it! We showed up on a Sunday about 1:00 with not many patrons there and almost left . . . so glad we didn't. We each had a 3 portion sampler lunch plate (which they combine into a single large platter) and it was wonderful. So many wonderful flavors. Not a single one of the six items was over salted nor missing a wonderful flavor of its own. We left full and satisfied for a very reasonable price. Our thanks to , our host, Noah, he was very helpful and quite friendly.
