Zemog's, Omaha, Nebraska, Mexican Restaurant Details

Food:

Was hoping to find one of those little gems in a strip mall, but this one wasn't that. It was typical strip mall food. The decorations were nice but the food was pretty bland. Put enough salsa on it and it might even taste like ethnic food. Maybe. I heard this place may be closed soon and I can see why. Seems the website is already deadlinked. You'd think whoever was running this business would notice stuff like that and get it fixed. Otherwise, they're kind of asking to go under. That's just not how successful businesses are run.

Food:

I accidentally called the wrong location to order takeout, but the man who answered at the Q street location asked if he could go ahead and take my order and pass it along to the other location. I had an unusual order, and he confirmed twice to ensure he had it all correct. He was very cheerful and was a pleasure to have spoken to. The man I spoke with at the Miracle Hills location when I picked up my order was very personable and helpful as well. Oh, and the food is consistently delicious, too! Great experience!

Food:

Went there for the first time. They were unable to make special orders. When I did get order the rice inside was burnt/over cooked. Couldn't eat it. Sadly the worst so called mexican restaurant I have been to. Decor was nice and so was the server. She comped the meal and offered me something different but I declined.

Food:

Everyone has their idea of what "real" Mexican food is. I love Mexican and like this place a lot. Good prices for the portions. Great flavors and fresh ingredients. Guac made fresh when ordered. And Ponce hires nice folks.

Food:

We go to Zemogs pretty often. Every few weeks they put coupons out in the mail. Some coupons have been "Buy One Taco get all you can eat" or "Buy a large combo get a large combo free." So whenever we get these, we make our way to Zemogs. As far as food quality, I give it 3/5 stars. The chicken is kind of bland, the tacos don't have tons of flavor and the salsa has a flavor that's good for the first bowl but by the second one, you're tired of it. I do recommend the chalupas, ginormous burrito, or the enchiladas. The service is usually top notch, unless they get busy and only have one server, which happens from time to time as this place is pretty popular around noon. This place is a nice alternative to the big Mexican chains of Omaha.
