By far the best food I've ever had!
Everything was so incredible.
The setting is beautiful and in the center of so any landmarks. The inside is casual, yet intimate setting.

I highly recommend it and I will definitely be coming back!!!!

After visiting the Ice Rink, my wife and I strolled into Old City to grab some dinner. Almost missed Zento except for the specials sign. The place was just absolutely beautiful. The decorating touches were all pulled together to make an intimate yet modern statement and definitely set the tone for a relaxed meal. From the saki to the soups, sashimi and sushi, it was all delicious. In fact, the Salmon sashimi was the best i've ever eaten. Even though the restaurant was half full that evening, the service was attentive and professional. Zento even had great touches like the charging station located next to the restrooms in case your electronic device needs a charge. We are in Philly about once a month and can't wait to return for another chance to enjoy this new found gem. Definitely 5 STARS!

The lunch combos are huge, it's a lot of food. The sushi is rolled tightly. Often not enough wasabi but that's just a personal preference. Some of the best tempura soup I've had with take out.

Fantastic, fresh, interesting. Staff wasn't put off, & was accommodating, when we requested a different table than we were originally directed to. Ordered a ton of sushi & every wave of food that came out was equally fresh & delicious. In a lively neighborhood with many places to visit after dinner for drinks, extensive craft beer lists & billiards. Note: Zento has its own parking lot (which we didn't know about, so spent $20 on parking) & they validate.

My fiance took me to Zento for my birthday and we were not disappointed. The sushi was tasty and fresh but the highlight was the fried calamari and the green tea tempora ice cream. A little overpriced but I'd still go back. Great service and a nice decor and ambiance.
