Zippys Burritos, Baton Rouge, Louisiana Restaurant Details

Food:

I go to Zippy's occasionally only because I can walk there, but I can't imagine why anyone would go out of their way to go there. The meat is salty and tough, the beans are cooked to the point of mush, the daiquiris are overpriced, and the patio is full of frat boy smokers. Chips and salsa aren't bad, but you can get a better burrito at, well, anywhere else.

Great customer service, cheap but delicious eats. Family friendly. Pet friendly. Loved it.

I just bought a burrito here, the cowboy burrito with steak and all the toppings, very tasty. I don't know if the ingredients are fresh, check with the cooks at Zippys or managers. Yeppers the kitchen is dirty....

Great portions and great prices! Kitchen looks a little on the dirty side but I've never gotten sick from eating there so works for me!

Hands down the best queso I have ever had. Love this place and go often. It's dog friendly which is another plus. Great patio, drinks are the cheapest and best in town, and the staff is great. The owner might be the most personable person you've ever met.
