Food:

Its really hit or miss with this place. The crowd can be normal guys or it can be creepers that won't take a hint but that's everywhere. Since there are 12 hour rooms and lockers you do get some homeless people using it as a place to sleep which can be off putting... When you go into the porn room and there are dudes fully clothes snoring it's a little intrusive... As far as the drug use goes, yeah it can be a little egregious at times but its not like you're going to step on broken crack pipes or dirty needles... The shower leaves a little to be desired insofar as you can't regulate water pressure or temperature and because it is on a short timer... If I had to chose i would generally go to steamworks but there you can only rent for 8 hours and the crowd can be a little more pretentious. Also, they are currently doing renovations at Z and it is looking better and better every time I come in. Club Z was my first ever bathhouse though so it will always hold a special place in my heart.

Just. Plain. Nasty. Meth heads and homeless crashing for the night. Old and rundown. No, Ma'am!!!!

I knew that the negative critics I read about this club were exaggerated.
Frankly, I've been to many saunas/bath houses and this one was fine. Nothing fancy but the facilities were clean and operational.
if I were to chose, I'd probably go back to Steamworks just because of little details such as the paint colour, the layout of the place...
In both locations the staff was really friendly and helpful.

I've made two trips to Seattle in the last month and visited Club Z on both occasions, but almost didn't because a couple of the reviews were so negative. all I can surmise is those reviews were written by guys who didn't get what they wanted and decided to take it out on the club. I too have been to bath houses around the country and found this one to be as clean as any I've ever been to and much cleaner and better maintained generally than many. Most important, in a club were bare feet are the norm, the floors are immaculate. no club can keep every area spic and span during peak business hours so I suspect if there was any thing "filthy" as one poster suggested it was only until the attendants cleaned it up. There were a couple of comments about drug use too but if there is it must be very well hidden, unlike many clubs, from bars to bathhouses where drug use is often out in the open. hope you guys get lucky the next time.

I've been to sex clubs around the nation (and world) and without a doubt this place with the most filthy dirty place the health department should shut down and it's simply used a cheap hotel for meth users and dealers. Do not waste your time or money paying to get into this hell hole.
