For being a place on 2nd street it's surprisingly well priced ! Really yummy pizzas and the garlic bread is soooooop good !!!! Can't wait to eat here again ! Oh and they deliver too !! Wow

Really like that they offer whole-wheat crust and organic ingredients and toppings. The staff are helpful (they let me know when specials are available that I'm unaware of) and friendly. We have ordered delivery many times over the past few years and it has never been late and our order always is correct. The online ordering system is handy, too. The crust tends to be a bit thinner than I prefer, but otherwise a very good pie. Really like the Tuscan Mushroom and Provence pizzas.

The most RUDE Person I've EVER spoken to on the phone!!! I called in at 8:39pm tonight, SATURDAY, to make a to go order for delivery, I asked them if they delivered to my street then told the guy on the phone, Noah, that I would call back to order once I looked over the menu, he said "ok." and we hung up. I called back at 8:45pm to place my order and Noah told me that it was too late to order delivery because the driver already took out an order and they closed at 9pm. I asked him why didn't he tell me that when I first called. He replied with, "you took too long to call back." I TOOK TOO LONG TO CALL BACK????? I told him it was only a few minutes, he said, "NO, it was 5 minutes." What is the difference? AND, even if I had ordered at 8:39pm, would the pizza be made and ready to deliver in the 6 minutes it took me to call back, and in that same 6 minutes that the driver left for the night???? I also couldn't believe that this Noah argued with me. I was so offended and treated bad that I told him, "well, I guess I won't be ordering from there again." He said, "Great, thanks, bye!" I hung up, then called back to ask to speak to a manager. Noah told me that there was NO manager on duty at the moment and he'd be back on Monday. So.... there was no manager at closing time on a Saturday, on 2nd street? That is very hard to believe! And if there wasn't a manager, I wonder how he or she would have felt if he or she knew that Noah was so rude and could care less about mistreating a customer that has never before, or never will again order from that store!? But, there is a good point to this story... I had originally called the Long Beach (Bixby Village Plaza) 5718 E 7th Street location, but they don't deliver to my area. I ended up calling them back to see if Noah was lying about there not being a manager at this time on a Saturday. Well, the guy (I wish I'd gotten his name) that answered the phone both times at the 7th Street location, was so sweet and asked his delivery driver if he'd be willing to go to my apartment and make an exception because of my poor experience at the 2nd street location. The driver said OK and they went out of their way for me!! How nice! Thanks to the 7th Street location, I will give ZPizza a chance. But as for the 2nd street location, I will NEVER eat there or give them my business, ever!
