09/21/2015 10:18 amThe staff seem friendly. I arrived there "Zuni Café. 3 hours" of the pastries arriving. The two people working were young. Maybe my age or a bit older. Maybe I'd be their friend in another life. Maybe I *will* be their friend, in this life. Maybe I'm getting older (I am). |

08/28/2015 7:33 amThis little shop is one of my favorite spots in Zuni Café. It's really charming, helpful and nice employees and great selections! The location is kind of hard to find if you don't know it's there, I wish that doesn't keep people from discovering this gem as new neighbors move into the area. |

07/04/2015 3:28 pmI really enjoyed the condescending looks I got from the host and all the servers as I first walked in. They choose to finally seat us under a pretentious 10,000 dollar paintings that resembled a child's' collage. The price and total was absolutely outrageous and did not match the quality nor the presentation. For instance we ordered the yellow fin tuna which was suppose to be seared but was well done. It was priced at 30 dollars and only came with the a 4 ounce piece of fish, and it was cooked wrong. Our fries were over cooked as well. The busser was polite and oysters were fresh other than that In and Out is way way way cheaper and way better service and at least they can cook food right to order. I will never come back to this establishment... U should go somewhere else.. |

05/14/2015 1:27 amThe place looks really nice from the outside. The atmosphere in the entrance is great with live piano music and lovely interior. The service was alright. I had a Halibut and my fiancée had the gnocchi. Both dishes were very small, like something you have when you are already full. Like desert but with main-course content. The Halibut didn't really taste anything, it was cooked plain and served with vegetables all without any seasoning whatsoever. And it was quite expensive. We landed at $90 for the two dishes and two almost empty glasses of wine. |

04/29/2015 11:22 pmTheir famous rotisserie chicken was dry. I was full of expectations and perhaps that was a mistake. Wasn't all that impressed. Good service and nice vibe, but the food didnt live up to the hype, unfortunately. |

09/21/2015 8:03 pm"Like the Golden Gate Bridge", this venerable Hayes Valley Mediterranean mainstay defines San Francisco for many who fondly recall its "timeless marquee dishes: the peerless brick-oven chicken for two, the "famous" burger and the "superb oyster selection"; polished service and a warm double-decker setting further burnish its classic reputation, made somewhat bittersweet following the recent passing of longtime chef Judy Rodgers. |
